Fri, Jun 06Solders Memorial Sports ArenaThe Summer Festival Dance is always held the Friday night before the Summer Festival. The dance is held from 7:00 – 10:00 pm, and in 2022 the location was changed to the area in front of the Solders Memorial Sports Arena in Butner. In case of rain, it can be moved inside the arena.
Sat, Jun 07Gazebo ParkThis festival offers craft and food vendors, kid’s activities, a FANTASTIC car show, a tractor show, and a BBQ chicken cook-off contest that just can’t be missed. It provides day-long live entertainment that ranges from local talent to national recording artists.
Fri, Dec 05ButnerA warm community gathering at Gazebo Park on Central Avenue, to kickoff the Christmas season. Lighting of the tree, pictures with Santa, local entertainment and singing of favorite Christmas songs.
Sat, Dec 06Central AvenueThe Butner Christmas Parade has been a crowd favorite for many years and stretches the entire length of Central Avenue.
